Wooden Mushroom Sculpture
~ (ONE OF A KIND) ~ Similar to how mushrooms are foraged, we wander through the woods searching for materials that we suspect to have unique grain formations. We take our hand selected pieces back to our shop to carefully shape each piece to complement the natural grains hidden in the wood, and creating a realistic or abstract mushroom form.
This sculpture has been crafted from cedar for the caps, and alder for the stems. This sculpture is on a slab of slate we collected from the Sebasticook River. The caps are detachable for easier packaging or storage.
